Jet pooling is the easiest way to think about cost-sharing on private aviation. Carpool to work; jet-pool to Aspen. Same idea, bigger ride.

What jet pooling actually is
A small group of travellers heading the same route on roughly the same date find each other, agree to fly together, and jointly charter a single private jet from a licensed operator. They split the all-in invoice — typically per seat.
It's not a new aircraft category and it's not a new regulatory framework. The flight itself is a normal commercial charter. What's new is the matching layer — a platform that finds the people, so the charter doesn't have to be paid for by one person alone.
Why people pool
- Cuts the per-seat cost dramatically (often 40–75%).
- Keeps the things people fly private for: FBO terminals, no security queues, departures on your schedule, your bags hand-carried to the aircraft.
- Greener per-seat: a full jet has a fraction of the per-passenger emissions of an empty one.
What jet pooling is not
Jet pooling is not a scheduled airline service, not a per-seat ticket sale, and not a way for an individual aircraft owner to sell rides to strangers. The flight is always operated by a properly certified commercial air carrier. The platform's role is matching, not flying.

JetMatch is a technology platform that introduces travellers who want to share the cost of a private flight. We do not own, operate, charter, or sell air transportation. All flights are arranged with, and operated by, independent certified air carriers selected by the travellers themselves.
